If God is a loving God, Why is there evil in the World?
A few months ago I came across an interesting video that tackled a common question many have regarding God: "If God is such a loving God, then why is there evil in this world?". I have heard this question a few times in my life, and the unique way in which Christian apologist Dr. Ravi Zacharias addresses this topic in the video is surprising. "Love." he said. Love is the reason why there is evil in this world.
True love is something that is organically fostered by choice. You cannot truly love without choice. You cannot choose without free will. God's most important commandment for us is to love him with all of our heart and mind. For this commandment to be fulfilled, he gave us the gift of free will.
